Description of deck by its author (quoted):
Creature removal at its best, Nightbreed is a title that should completely infer mono-black creature control.  Almost all of your creatures are removable and in fact, they are suppose to be sacked to your graveyard to support the Gravepact win condition helper of this deck.  Exhume will be to your advantage as well as no rest for the wicked allowing you to return all of your sacked creatures to your graveyard.

Sol ring is there just for some mana boost.  Without dark ritual, this deck still has some good mana speed because of the sackable Thrulls (for mana).  You will also find two great Legendary creatures: Spirit of the Night and Ascendant Evincar.  They are not central to this deck but rather good cards in a deck using graveyard tricks.
