Description of deck by it's author
(quoted):
With Faces, you can tap or untap all creatures
that share a type with a creature that goes to the graveyard. My combo
centers on getting it into play with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, and then
doing all sorts of silly stuff.
In the early game, this deck throws down quick Skirk
Prospectors and Chrome Moxes to speed up your expensive drops; Seething
Song almost made the cut as well, so try it if you want to sacrifice some
stability in return for more speed. In the meantime, you’ll be using your
drawings and tutoring spells as much as possible. Brainstorm is a great
early play; following it up with a shuffle from Intuition, Goblin matron
or a fetchland will knock the chaff out the top of your library. You’ll
also want to Intuition for three Accumulated Knowledges when possible –
especially if you already have a copy in hand – since the two that go to
your graveyard turn the other copies into sick card advantage.
The deck’s got several paths to victory, all of which
work best with Faces of the Past and Kiki-Jiki in play. With a Prospector
out, you can copy him with Kiki, then sacrifice the copy to make a mana
and untap Kiki via Faces. Lather, rinse, repeat a million times and fire
off a Kaervek’s Torch at your opponent’s face. The Torch gets around any
Force of Will nonsense.
Alternately, if you get any of the six pingers in play
and active, you can use the other combo pieces to turn them into Gattling
guns and shoot away for infinite damage. If you really want overkill, just
go for the Matron; Kiki her up a bunch of times – sacrificed the copies to
Skirk Prospector to untap Kiki with Faces – to search out all of your
goblins and them drop ‘em on the table. |
