Description of deck by its author (quoted):
...Wanted to build an illusion-tribe deck, after much researching I think I pulled off a decent and fairly inexpensive build. And despite its consistency, it can pull off a fair number of tricks.

Illusions are all fairly cheap creatures, so Distant Melody has worked really nicely (especially in conjunction with Mistform Warchief), between that and Fathom Seer I have a good amount of card draw. Krovikan Mist has the potential to become fairly huge, and Shapesharer can double as one for double the damage. Draining Whelk is actually fairly castable with the Warchief

Fathom Seer works well with Foil/Misdirection, allowing me to return islands/draw cards to hand to further discard. Foil/Misdirection allow me to play creatures each turn without much fear for reprisal.

Ixidron functions to even the board between superior creatures and my 1/1 & 1/3 illusions, giving me a powerhouse in exchange. When that doesn't work, Wash Out can help seal the game.
