Ideally, you’ll get a Syphon Soul (with a Dark Ritual, maybe even
first turn) and a Sizzle into the graveyard as soon as possible, then
play a Helix to snatch them both. That’s the ideal Helix combo. With
it, three mana becomes 5 damage to each opponent and life gain for you.
It really doesn’t get much better than that. The coolest thing I’ve
done in one early turn with this deck (probably turn 4 or 5, which is
nothing in a giant chaos game) is cast the Helix imprinting those two
cards, Dark Ritual plus 2 for the Gilded Lotus, then tap the Lotus to
cast one of the spells, copying the other.
