Description of deck by it's author
(quoted):
Here's a casual Type 1 Millstone deck that uses Scapelexis (and
abuses) Memory Jar to the extreme. It utilizes a wide array of
card-removal spells including Dissipates, Swords, Caps, Crypts, and
Cyclixes (among others) to completely attack the opponent's
deck/permanents/spells like no other [deck]. The Goblin Welder
draws massive cards as you recurse the Memory Jar over and over again
(while dumping piles of cards in your opponent's graveyard...), and the
Archeologist recurs Crypt and Caps to eliminate Threshold and other
specific threats.
There's
still some questionable cards in there (i.e. Wall of Swords and
Scorching Lava) but the add a little variety to an under-used milling
strategy. Fortunately, the casual Type 1 deck draws like a madman,
so dead cards can be skipped through quickly. So the question is,
how can it be improved?
