Description of deck by it's author (quoted):
This deck thrives on drawing cards, shredding your opponent’s hand and stretching the game until your nickel-and-dime card advantage becomes insurmountable. Start tripping the opponent up with cantrips remand and Repeal, using Mana Leak to veto problematic cards. When you have the chance, take pot shots at his hand with Venarian Glimmer and the Pilferer while building card advantage through Ancestral Vision to dig up Damantion and Persecute—even a missed Glimmer will help maximize Persecute. Use Extirpates to strip out anything that’s really dangerous in the other guy’s deck, or to hit cards in hand when Venarian Glimmer shows you an opportunity to do so. The blue discard mostly plays at instant speed as well, so it can short circuit the opponent’s draw step once his hand is empty.

You want the opponent’s hand and board to be empty around turn six, when you look to cast Tidings and find a Tidewalker. Tidewalker is unique among late game finishers in Standard because it comes out very big, ideally as a 6/6 or 7/7, and leaves mana open for counterspells or discard.
