Description of deck by it's author (quoted):
Admit it, fellow Johnnies.  You drooled when Coalition Victory came along.  You swore Test of Endurance could be broken.  And Battle of Wits made you waana play Five-Color Magic.  Then you tried them, and they all more or less sucked.  Maybe that's why they're called "alternate" win conditions; there are so many better alternatives.  No more.

Darksteel Reactor doesn't have the inherent flaws of alternate win conditions past.  First, it's an artifact, meaning you can go any color with support.  Second, it's got the phat new "indestructible" keyword, meaning it's much more difficult for foes to stop.  And finally, you win immediately upon gaining 20 charge counters.  There's none of that "wait till the beginning of your upkeep" B.S.

You essentially have two energize your Darksteel Reactor.  One if the conventional approach, in which you add the Reactor's counters every turn, then speed things along with Coretappers and by fetching the deck's lone Power Conduit, which can do all sorts of nift stuff -- including transfer charge counters between Mirrodin's Core and the Reactor.  But let's face it, that's a little too slow when you facing the likes of turbo affinity and those damn equipment-toting white weenies.  So this deck packs the means to let your opponent win the game for you as he attempts to bash your face into pulp.

Enter the almighty Sun Droplet.  That's right, each point of damage you take with the Droplet in play adds a charge counter to this normally worthless artifact.  So if your foe hits with 18, you still lose the life, but gain 18 counters in the process.  See where this is going?  You use Coretapper to get a couple counters on Darksteel Reactor, then when the total number of counters betwen the Reactor and the Droplet is 20 or more, BOOM!  Dismantle Sun Droplet.  Transfer counters to Reactor.  Then ask your foe who his daddy is.
