 Burgeoning.
Description of deck by it's author
(quoted): We know about Burgeoning and Mystic Remora???. Just nuts in multi-player.
They're both enchantments, so I decided to go the enchantment route. What goes best with enchantments? Enchantress!
We're talking major card drawing. The Explorations are cheap, allow you to draw off the Enchantress and help you to get all that land
you've been drawing into play. Enchantress's Presence equals card drawing.
Regrowth was put on the restricted list for a reason. If you're playing green in any deck you should play one.
Enough said. Gaea's Blessing is one of the strongest deck engines if you set you deck up correctly. As your deck starts to thin because of the massive card drawing, Blessings allow you to recover the cards you need and set up your deck.
Rhystic Study is a sister to Mystic Remora. If you compare the two you will see advantages and
disadvantages. I find that Mystic is a stronger card than Rhystic, but I still like Rhystic enough to put two in the
deck. Soothsaying is the Yahoo! of magic. It's a great search engine. Cheap too. Don't forget the second ability of shuffling your deck. If you don't like
what's coming up, shuffle. Horn of Greed equals card drawing. It works with Exploration, but not with Burgeoning. WOTC has made a distinction between playing, putting and coming into play.
Sol Ring is just like Regrowth. You should never be able to say that you have an extra one. It should be in every
deck. Zuran Orb for the needed life gain. Soldevi Digger works along with
Gaea's Blessing for recovery and setting up the deck.
As your deck gets thinner you will use Time Warp and Time Stretch to go into an unlimited number of turns or
what's known as ?The loop?. Get the deck down to a few card, recover Time Warp/Stretch from the graveyard using
Gaea's Blessing and/or Soldevi Digger. Time Spiral is in the deck as sort of a security blanket. Draw too many cards, something gets blown up,
etc? The kill is Ancestral Mask with the help of Dragon Wings and Rancor to fly over or through anything in the way. Capsize is for bouncing anything else like Worship. I also put an alternative kill in the deck using Stroke of Genius.
The deck works very well. Disgustingly well. I play against some really warped people with some really warped decks. Competition is high and none of the players fell off the turnip truck. With that in mind, when I say that I win 75% to 80% of the time with this deck, you should get a good idea of the effectiveness of the deck. Give it a try and tinker with it.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
