Grozoth v1.0.
Description of deck by it's author
(quoted):
This deck is centered around 3 cards: Grozoth,
Myojin of Life's Web, and Fist of Suns. The point of it is to get a Fist
of Suns and 1 mana of every color as fast as possible (2 copies of
Bringer of the Black Dawn and 1 Bringer if the Blue Dawn help out if
you're dfigging for cards). Once you drop the Grozoth, you search out
every card you feel like you need to win. Then you play Myojin of Life's
Web, and activate it, removing the counter to drop your entire army at
once.
Then next turn you Plague Wind and Decree of Savagery
and alpha strike for a win. The rest of the deck is control and mana
acceleration so this combo goes off as soon as possible, but if you really
need a 9 cost creature but can't afford it immediately (Bringers
automatically have the 5 color cost as an alternate), you can transmute
your Grozoth for Black or Blue and dig deeper into your deck for more
combo parts.
Grozoth itself holds off attackers very well and the
Bringers do an excellent job, as well as Myojin, so you don't worry that
much about mid game attacks. Every piece in this deck can be held for
later use by just keeping it on the board (Grozoth should just search out
a single other Grozoth when you're not ready to set it off yet). |
