Description of deck by its author (quoted):
While this was an interesting deck-type to play around with, I've never been able to get it to work.

There are a few problems from what I've seen.

First, the setup phase is very, very slow. You're going to spend the better part of at least four turns simply trying to get mana and draw the right cards. With only two wraths in that list I don't think there's any chance of beating aggro.

Second, even after you set it up, it takes quite a few turns to actually win. There's also a big risk of having your auramage killed. If you lose him, you don't actually have negative card advantage, but you're down two of your potential threats as opposed to one (seeing as the deck has very few cards that can actually win the game).

Finally, all the builds I've tried lack any sort of real consistency. Having to rely on one card to win with no tutors is pretty rough. I hadn't really considered chords of calling mostly because it costs a whopping 9 (without convoking) mana to get an auramage out.

I went through all sorts of varied builds that ranged from aggressive to a wierd lock involving auramage, worship, and privileged position. I didn't really like any of the less "controllish builds". I really wanted it to work, and I think I went through more different decklists on this concept than almost anything else I've tried before. Sadly, nothing resulted from it.

However, for the sake of discussion, I'll go ahead and post the last list I was last working with. Perhaps someone can make the concept more effective than I.

Cards I've found to be good in this sort of deck that you haven't included (or many copies of):
--Faith's Fetters. Amazing versus aggro and for some reason many people haven't figured out it can be used against problem non creature permenants like jitte. I used it on vitu-ghazi tree once, if you can believe it.
--Carven Caryatid. Works as a blocker to stall the game, and if you can't dig out an auramage you can slap a flickerform on it to use it as a sort of card drawing engine.

Cards that seem like they would work, but didn't work well -
--Verduran enchantress. I tried several ways to get this engine to work, but the deck would rather hold on to it's enchantments until it's ready to win than play them in an effort to draw some cards. It's also usually the first thing people target with re
--Watchwolf. He seems like a good solid man to have, but you don't really want to use him to attack and an efficient vanilla man doesn't do much good if he's your only aggressive creature.
