Kitty.
Description of deck by its author (quoted):
Recently, I wrote an article about a deck that Manuel Bevand played
at PT Ohio called Kitty. It used Sneak Attack and Through the Breach to
put out big creatures with bonuses when they died to be their opponent
quickly. Bevand finished 128th with his deck and it didn’t get a lot of
press, but it looked fun so I’ve been play testing it.
I like playing decks that people don’t expect. I think it’s a lot of fun
to play something goofy or unexpected. As a metagame choice, it was
really smart to play Kitty. There’s not a lot people can do to sideboard
against it, and unless you’ve played against the deck there’s a large
chance that you’ll make a mistake, so I packed it up and took it down to
Grand Prix Boston. On Friday night my group got our stuff together and
drove down. We planned on leaving at 4:30 pm, but Paul’s car decided it
didn’t need an exhaust thirty minutes down the road so we turned around
and piled into my little car. I don’t think anyone knows, but I drive
Jamie Wakefield’s old car. There are a lot of memories of riding in that
car to tournaments in the middle of blizzards only to have Jamie finish
9th.Recently, I wrote an article about a deck that Manuel Bevand played
