Visual spoilers are collections of images with a common
theme. In this case, you will find all of the card images for the
creature super type Legendary. The images are typically sorted by
color and then (hopefully) alphabetically by name. You can find all
of the images below this introduction.
Creature Visual Spoilers are an excellent resource if
you are looking to build a tribal deck. Pure casual (non-Magic
Online) tribal decks are decks that have sixteen or more cards of the same
creature type. Tribal Wars, a casual Magic Online format, requires that
one third of the deck be of the same creature type with a minimum of sixty
cards. Note: Legends don't count as a creature type and
thus a REAL tribal deck cannot be built around them anymore.
If you have any Tribal Decks you would like to see added
to the database, be sure to post your deck in the
Casual Deck Forum with "[TRIBAL]" in the
title. Note that only unique decks and decks that aren't already in
the MDV Deck Database
are chosen. MDV's Tribal Decks can be found
here.
This visual spoiler is also great if you are looking to
complete your collection of a particular tribe.
At this time, this creature visual spoiler does not
include fictional cards, cards that interact with the tribe that aren't
actually in the tribe. This page does, however, include applicable
cards from [UN] products like Unglued and Unhinged.
This visual spoiler does not include cards that generate
tokens of this creature type, nor does it have cards that only interact
with this creature type but lack the creature type (like instants,
sorceries, artifacts, non-related creatures and so on).

Interesting Tidbits and Links
- Rules changes were made to Legends in the Kamigawa
Block.
- The creature type "Legend" no longer exists. Instead,
creatures can now have the legendary supertype, just like other
permanent types can. Older creature cards that were printed with the
creature type Legend now have the legendary supertype instead. It's no
longer possible to make a creature into a Legend by changing its type.
- RULE: 420.5e If two or more permanents with the same
name have the supertype legendary, all are put into their owners'
graveyards. This is called the "legend rule." If only one of those
permanents is legendary, this rule doesn't apply.
- The new "legend rule," like the old one, is a
state-based effect. So if you have out a Tolarian Academy and I play one
of my own, you don't get a chance to tap yours before they are both put
into the graveyard. This only really matters with legendary lands
because playing a land does not use the stack.
