Visual spoilers are collections of images with a common
theme. In this case, you will find all of the card images for the
creature type Golem. The images are typically sorted by
color and then (hopefully) alphabetically by name. You can find all
of the images below this introduction.
Creature Visual Spoilers are an excellent resource if
you are looking to build a tribal deck. Pure casual (non-Magic
Online) tribal decks are decks that have sixteen or more cards of the same
creature type. Tribal Wars, a casual Magic Online format, requires that
one third of the deck be of the same creature type with a minimum of sixty
cards.
If you have any Tribal Decks you would like to see added
to the database, be sure to post your deck in the
Casual Deck Forum with "[TRIBAL]" in the
title. Note that only unique decks and decks that aren't already in
the MDV Deck Database
are chosen. MDV's Tribal Decks can be found
here.
This visual spoiler is also great if you are looking to
complete your collection of a particular tribe.
At this time, this creature visual spoiler does not
include fictional cards, cards that interact with the tribe that aren't
actually in the tribe. This page does, however, include applicable
cards from [UN] products like Unglued and Unhinged.
This visual spoiler does not include cards that generate
tokens of this creature type, nor does it have cards that only interact
with this creature type but lack the creature type (like instants,
sorceries, artifacts, non-related creatures and so on).

Interesting Tidbits and Links
- Brass Golem, while originally printed as an Uncommon
in the Invasion block, was reptined in a core set as a Rare.
- On Obsianus Golem, the "Song of the Artficer" in the
Golem's flavor text is a take off on the old African-American spirital
"Dem Bones."
- In Glass Golem's case, the low toughness of the
creature reflects what kind of material the creature is made of.
- Emblazoned Golem inspired the sunburst mechanic from
Fifth Dawn.
- Karn, Silver Golem, has a passive nature as reflected
in the fact that he becomes 0/8 when engaged in combat. He does,
however, deal 4 when unblocked.
- Urza's Destiny was the first set to list Artifact
Creature subtypes on the type line box. This is evident in Thran Golem.
Previously the card would have read, "Thran Golem counts as a Golem." in
the text box.
