A visual spoiler is a collection of images that share a common
theme. In this case, you will find all of the card images for the
creature type Beast. The images are typically sorted by
color and then (hopefully) alphabetically by name. You can find all
of the images below this introduction.
Creature Visual Spoilers are an excellent resource if
you are looking to build a tribal deck. Pure casual (non-Magic
Online) tribal decks are decks that have sixteen or more cards of the same
creature type. Tribal Wars, a casual Magic Online format, requires that
one third of the deck be of the same creature type with a minimum of sixty
cards.
If you have any Tribal Decks you would like to see added
to the database, be sure to post your deck in the
Casual Deck Forum with "[TRIBAL]" in the
title. Note that only unique decks and decks that aren't already in
the MDV Deck Database

complete your collection of a particular tribe. Notice the

At this time, this creature visual spoiler does not
include fictional cards, cards that interact with the tribe that aren't
actually in the tribe, cards that generate tokens of this tribe, or actual
tokens. This page does, however, include applicable
cards from [UN] products like Unglued and Unhinged as well as Tribal
instants, sorceries and enchantments.

Interesting Tidbits and Links
- While this isn't a stated fact, Beast is an
many-types encompassing creature type that WotC uses for minor creature
types like Eels, small sea creatures and Anurids...
- Beasts of Bogardan, a Legends uncommon, was the first
creature ever printed with the type "Beasts." The next didn't happen
until Tempest.
- Beasts was one of few creature types that received a
major push in the Onslaught block.
- MDV posted a
Top
20 Beasts list a long, long time ago. 2002 to be
specific.
- Wizards.com did a Beast theme week starting the week
of November 18th, 2002.
- The Great Creature Type Update of Lorwyn added and
subtracted several beasts from this list. Removed creature include
Sacred Prey. Additions include Lurker, everal Arcbound creatures,
Stratadon, Hunting Moa, Spinal Villain, Psionic Entity, Soldevi Steam
Beast and Phyrexian War Beast.
